It's The Great Pumpkin(s)!

Pumpkinland @ Linvilla Orchards

A few weeks ago, I got a chance to spend some time on a Saturday morning with my Cousin Miles at a place called Linvilla Orchards in Media, PA. It was a really nice trip and there were lots of fun things to see and do at this place. They grow their own fruits and vegetables (Yuk!) and you can pick them yourself or buy them in something called a farmer's market. At this time of year, Pumpkinland, is a fun place to be because they have scarecrows and lots of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes.

Playland Playground is another fun spot and it has a train that you can ride on called the "Playland Express". You can also go on something called a "hayride" to Bunnyland, ride on a real pony (if you are old enough), visit with the farm animals, and catch some fish in the orchard lake. If you get hungry, there's a nice place to eat and a bakery too. I also heard that you can have a birthday party there and cut down your own Christmas tree and take it home with you!

Here are some pics that my Mommy took while we were there. Grammy had to wait a little while to get these but, she said... "Better late than never, right?" I also want to thank my Cousin Miles and his Mommy (Cousin Melanie) and Daddy (Cousin Ryan) for inviting us to go with them. We had a great time at the orchard and I hope we get a chance to go back there one day. Oh, and before I forget... Grammy, what's an "orchard"?

A Very Special Day!

A (Belated) Birthday Message for Tava
Now, make a wish and blow out the candles!

Tuesday, October 7th was a very special day for my Godsister Tava... she had a birthday! So, this past Saturday, my Godmomie Latoya invited me and my Mommy to spend the day with them at Chuck E. Cheese to help her celebrate. It was such a fun day and, as always, me and Tava had a great time together. She is the best Godsister in the world and I love her very much.

Tava, I sure hope that you enjoyed celebrating your birthday as much as I did. It was a blast! And, Godmomie Latoya, thank you so much for inviting me and Mommy to spend the day with you and Tava. Grammy also said to tell you thank you for emailing these pics so I could put them on my blog. I think that Chuck E. Cheese is ALWAYS a great place to celebrate just about anything! What about you, Tava?

The Island of Sodor

Yesterday morning, my Grammy helped me put together every piece of train track that I have so I could create my own Island of Sodor on the living room floor. We also connected the Post Office, Engine Wash, Water Tower, Engine Shed, and Toby's Windmill to the tracks. Cranky the crane was there and he was a big help to us while we were building the island.

We had a lot fun putting it all together, which we haven't done in a while, and I had a great time playing on the island. I was also watching Thomas & Friends on TV at the same time so, it was a great way to spend a typical Saturday morning at home. Here are some pics that Grammy took of my Island of Sodor when it was finished.

Look at Thomas go... he's pulling my name train!
