A Special Treat For Us...

Turn your speakers on!

Reading Terminal Market officially kicked off the holiday season on Friday, November 25th with its annual Holiday Railroad featuring a 500 square foot model railroad with nearly a third of a mile of track. Now in its eighth year, the display features 17 working train lines that rumble through a multitude of miniature scenery including Center City Philadelphia, a Christmas village, and snow-covered countryside.

The railroad display has become an annual tradition that customers and their families look forward to each year. This year, the railroad was expanded by adding more trains, bridges, interactive buttons, and the inclusion of familiar Philadelphia venues within the display. The following organizations sponsored the railroad display for 2011:

* ARAMARK Tower
* Center for Architecture
* The Gallery at Market East
* Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp.
* Greyhound Bus Company
* Market Street East Improvement Association
* Marriott Philadelphia Downtown
* Parkway Corp.
* Pennsylvania Convention Center

The railroad will be open until Sunday, January 3rd, 10:00am-6:00pm (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day) and it is located in the Piano Court of the Reading Terminal Market. Just click the play button and check out the video Grammy made when we went to see it!

Family Christmas Dinner 2011

Today, everybody went over to our cousin's house for the annual family Christmas dinner. Mommy, Grammy, and Pop-Pop were there too. We got a chance to see many of our aunts, uncles, and cousins, but what we liked the most was playing with all of our cousins... Chloe, Jaden (2), Janiah, Laila, Nailah, Miles, Nia, Samaya, and Troy, Jr. We also saw our two baby cousins, Lila and Melainia. They are too little to play with us just yet, but we can look forward to playing with them next year! As always, the food was good and everybody had a great time together. Here are some of the pics that Grammy took while we were there and you can click on the collages for a larger view...

Sleepover w/ Cousin Miles!

Star Date 12.10.11

Saturday night, me and my little sister spent the night away from home. My little sister went to visit with her Godmomie Abby and I went to visit with my Cousin Miles. This was my cousin's first sleepover and his Mommy was very excited about it. She made sure that we had a blast and took all of these great pics to boot!

Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite! :) :)

Christmas Is Coming!

Quiz Rocket Challenge

We found this really cute quiz about Christmas that you might enjoy from that place called the "internet". If you've got some time to spare, try it and see how many "little things" you remember about the holiday. Just click on the badge above to get to the quiz. When you finish, you'll get a badge with your score just like ours that you can put on your site. As you can see, we took the quiz (with a little help from Grammy) and did pretty good, don't you think? Good luck!

A Very Busy Day...

Yesterday was something called "Black Friday", so we were out and about with Mommy, Grammy, and Pop-Pop. First, we went to the King of Prussia mall and after a quick lunch, Mommy did some shopping. When she finished, we left the mall and went to the movies to see Happy Feet 2! When the movie was over, Mommy wanted to do a little more shopping, so we stopped by Target before we went home. It was a very busy day, but we also had fun together. Grammy brought the camera with her and here are some of the pics she took during the day!

TO: All Of Our Family & Friends...

Once again, we had Thanksgiving dinner with our Great Grandmother
"Pumpkin Pie" at her house. Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, and Pop-Pop were there too. As always, the food was good and after dinner, we played while the grown-ups talked, watched TV, and took "cat naps". It was nice to visit our great grandmother again and we had a great time. Here are some of the pics that Mommy and Grammy took while we were there. They also let me (TBW) use the camera for the first time and I took a couple of pics too! :)

We hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving!
