QT w/ Grammy & Pop-Pop 38

After my karate class today, Grammy & Pop-Pop decided to have brunch @ Cracker Barrel in Plymouth Meeting. It's such a nice day and it feels good to sit on the porch and enjoy the weather. I'm working on a word search puzzle while we wait for our table. It's been a long time and sometimes it felt like we would never be able to do this again!

"A BLACK BELT IS A WHITE BELT THAT NEVER QUITS"

Here are a few pics of the #BrownBelt graduation ritual TBW participated in on Saturday after karate class. We discovered from the certificate that goes along with it the official title is "3rd Kyu Brown Belt". Thanks to Sensei Connor for everything he has done to get him to this level and Madison for taking these pics!

TBW passed the test and received his #BrownBelt in karate today! He had a brief ceremony with Sensei Connor at the end of class this morning and a shout out to Madison, who took some pics to send us later because we're still not allowed to sit in the studio due to social distancing guidelines. More later but in the meantime, May will mark 4 years that he has been working hard to make his way up these belt levels and here is the timeline to date. We are so proud of him!

We had another sleepover weekend with our grandparents. TBW spent Friday night with them so they could take him to karate class Saturday morning, then Little Sisters Sophia & Alexis joined them later that day to spend the night too!

And, it really was a "sleepover weekend" in every sense of the word! We were sleepy, but Grammy put an end to our Saturday afternoon nap so we wouldn't be up all night—and, they were about to lose an hour of sleep too because of DST? She said "Oh, No" and we had to get up! LOL!
