We usally do something called "sleeping in" on Saturdays but today, we got up extra early. First, my Mommy and Pop-Pop took me to the barber shop so I could get my haircut for the summer. Mommy said that the haircut would make me feel a little cooler now that it is so hot.
When we finished at the barber shop, we went back home, picked up Grammy, and we all went to the SBC Cookout. My church family has a cookout every year and this time, we went to a place called "Fairmount Park". It was a really hot day and there was a little rain but, not enough to take my sunshine away.
