Dedicated to You, O Lord,
we bring our children to You.
We know they are yours already,
entrusted to us on this earth.
And we thank You for each life,
you’ve placed into our arms.
We come as brothers and sisters,
devoted to You alone,
to guide us on this journey,
and lead them to Your truth.
Please draw each one to You,
that they may know Your love,
that they may know Your plan for them,
and they may walk with You.
Teach us, Lord, to teach them,
love us, Lord, to love them,
guide us, Lord, to guide them,
so that they might call You Lord.
My little sister Sophia was "dedicated" at church today and now she has Godparents, just like me. My Mommy's friend, Abby, is now her "Godmomie Abby" and my Dad's friend, Nate, is now her "Godpopie Nate". After the church service was over and we got home, Mommy took these pics of Sophia, Godmomie Abby with her daughter Tee'Ahra, and me. My little sister is sleeping again but, I think that she looks really pretty just the same. Don't you?
WHAT!! The baby was dedicated and I wasn't invited. I'm going to start to feel "some type of way" soon. What is this? I've been left out again? What did I do to be kicked to the curve??
