A bag of buttered popcorn and a movie...
The Booga Wooga reviews a movie classic...
My Grammy brought home something called a "DVD" just for me. She said that it was a movie called "The Wizard of Oz". We watched it together the first time and now, I can watch it all by myself from beginning to end.
It is the story of a girl named Dorothy and her little dog that barks a lot named Toto. She lives in a place called "Kansas" with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. One day, something called a "twister" comes and blows everything all around. A window hits Dorothy on the head, she falls down on the bed, and when she wakes up, she and Toto are in a land full of color called "Oz".
While they are there, Dorothy and Toto meet a lot of little people called "munchkins", a good witch who floats in a ball, a bad witch who rides on a broom, some flying monkeys, a man called a "wizard", and three new friends... someone called a "scarecrow", someone called a "tin man", and a lion who is afraid of everything! Dorothy and Toto want to go back to Kansas and at the end of the story, they get to go home.
I really like the movie a lot. I thought that it had lots of colors and all the songs were great. If you haven't seen it yet, tell somebody in your house to go and get it, pop some popcorn, and watch it. If you like storybooks, Grammy said that they can also get a copy of the original book, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum, and read it to you!
