Tuesday's Child Meets Friday's Child

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

"I'm a Friday's child! What does THAT mean Grammy?"

The reason me and Grammy decided to call this post "Tuesday's Child Meets Friday's Child" is because, you guessed it... I'm a Tuesday's child and my little sister Sophia is a Friday's child. But, that's okay... I've decided that I'm just gonna love her anyway.

My Mommy took this pic of Sophia and put it on her Facebook page. Me and Grammy saw it and had to "borrow" it for my blog because it was just too cute. So, watch out Mommy... me and Grammy may be "borrowing" some more pics in the days to come!

A Day Just For Mommies

Today is Mother's Day and it seems like everybody everywhere was spending time with their Mommy. Me and Sophia spent the day with our Mommy, Grammy, Pop-Pop, and my Great Grandmother Pumpkin Pie. We all went out to eat together at a place called "The Olive Garden". Then, we went to a special place where my Great Nana Faye is resting and left some flowers there. The flowers are called "red roses" in honor of Mother's Day.

My Mommy and Grammy both had their cameras and here are some pics of our day together. My Mommy took the first pic with her camera and Grammy took most of the other pics with her camera. All of the "Mommies" had a great time and me, Sophia, and Pop-Pop did too.

Random Pics 1

Here are some pics that my Mommy took of me and Sophia at home. The pics of me were taken before and after a recent haircut. I also think that that I would make a great poster boy for "Juicy Juice", don't you? The pics of Sophia were taken while she was awake and while she was sleeping. I kept telling her to "wake up" but, she just sleeps all the time (smile)!

Attention Family & Friends...

My Mommy Received A "Mother of the Year" Award

Click on the image of President Obama to watch the news story video about my Mommy receiving this award. If you want your Mommy or any other Mommy that you know to receive an award like this one, just follow the instructions at the end of the video. Grammy said that you can name as many Mommies as you want and all you need are their email addresses.

Congratulations & Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

What A Weekend!

Sophia and my Mommy came home from the hospital yesterday so, by the time you read this post, I will back with my family and getting use to life with my little sister. She is so tiny and cute but, she sleeps a lot. I can't wait until she gets a little bigger and stops sleeping so much so that we can play together. When Pop-Pop and Grammy took me home, they stayed for a little while and took turns holding Sophia while she slept.

My Mommy is really happy that my little sister is finally here because next Sunday is "Mother's Day". Now, she is looking forward to spending that day with both of us. We usually get together with Grammy and Pumpkin Pie to celebrate that special day so, be sure to check back next week for more pics. See you then!

I had a nice time with my grandparents. I remembered the house and where everything was so, I made myself right "at home". When me and Mommy moved, Grammy decided that she would hold on to my Thomas & Friends train collection for safe keeping and I was really glad to see it again. I had lots of other Thomas stuff that I could take with me to my house so, it worked out okay. She moved all of it to the room that I use to share with my Mommy so, they were in a new place. I just kept looking around the house until I found them and I had a ball playing with them. Me and Grammy built a train track all around the bed and under it too. I played with it for hours!

Me and Pop-Pop were "on the go" in the car a lot and we even had breakfast at one of our favorite spots, The Trolly Car Diner. He wanted to take me to the playground but, it was raining the whole time I was at their house. I don't like it when my sunshine is taken away so, I had to find some fun things to do in the house. I spent some time laughing and rolling on the floor with my "Elmo" that Great Nana Faye gave me. It was good to see him again too because he hasn't made the trip over to my house yet. Grammy made me some popcorn and we watched The Wizard of Oz together, just like ol' times. I also watched a lot of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

I enjoyed spending time with Grammy and Pop-Pop again but, when it was time to go home and be with my little sister, I was more than ready to answer the call of "big brother!"

My Little Sister Is Here (Part 2)!

At the end of the day, me and Pop-Pop picked up Grammy from work and headed over to the hospital to meet little Sophia. She was s-o-o-o tiny! I can already see that she's going to need a "big brother" to look out for her and I'm just the boy for the job!

After our visit, everyone went home so that my Mommy could get some rest. She was very happy about little Sophia being here but, she was also very tired. She told me that she should be coming home with my new little sister on Sunday. Until then, I'll be hangin' out at Grammy and Pop-Pop's house!

My Mommy went to the hospital yesterday afternoon to have my little sister. My Dad is at the hospital too and I'm at my Grammy and Pop-Pop's house right now. Mommy called us on the phone at 4:30am this morning to tell us that little Sophia was here.

My little sister's first and middle names are very special because "Sophia" is my Mommy's middle name and "Ina" is my Nana's (Dad's Mom) first name. Because she was born on May 1st, Grammy said that she is something called a "Taurus" (The Bull), just like her Daddy! What in the world is that, Grammy?

Grammy is going to work today so, it's Me & Pop-Pop Day! We are planning to go and meet my little sister when Grammy gets off from work. You know that Grammy will be taking the camera so, be sure to check back later for pics of little Sophia!

One Month Later...

My Mommy Got Married!

Me and Grammy are sorry that we have been something called "missing in action" for so long. This post is a couple of weeks overdue and by the time you see and read it, many things in my life will be different.

On Saturday, April 11th, my Mommy got married to a really nice guy named, Alex. The three us are now living together in another house so, me and Mommy don't live with Pop-Pop and Grammy anymore. I also have a new little sister who is "on the way" so, I'm going to be a "big brother" pretty soon!

Grammy said that it took her a while to write this post because it was the first time that she had to do it without me being there, which made her sad. She started to write it many times but the words just wouldn't come. Also, everyone was really busy after my Mommy got married, helping us to move into our new home and getting ready for my little sister to come into the world.

I really had some great times at my Pop-Pop and Grammy's house. I probably won't remember much about the time that I spent with them but, that's why me and Grammy decided to do this blog and we had fun doing it. I'm going to miss not seeing them everyday and I know that they are going to miss me (and my Mommy) too. Even still, all of us are looking forward to "new beginnings" and enjoying the times that we can spend together in the future even more.

Me and Grammy are going to keep the blog posts coming as often as we can because I don't live that far away. We invite you to check back for more pics of the wedding and when we visit each other or go out together. And, of course, stay tuned for pics of my new little sister, after she is born. She should be arriving any day now!

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN

Lord Jesus, You were never too busy to pay attention to children, for You dearly loved them. We are happy that you love us and that You have time to listen to our prayers and to answer them. We thank You that You have made us Your own. As we get bigger and stronger every day, help us to grow stronger in our faith too. Bless our parents, whom You have given to us, and help us to respect and obey them, to love and treasure them. Forgive us when we disobey them or when we fail to respect them as Your previous gifts to us. Give them the wisdom to train us in the good and right way. Bless our home and every member of our family with a strong faith in You and true love to one another. Teach us to be kind, unselfish, helpful, cheerful, forgiving, and faithful in our duties. Help us to be like You, Lord Jesus, to grow in wisdom and character and in favor with God and all people. Send Your angels to watch over us, to keep us from all harm of body and soul. Bless us, and make us a blessing to our family and friends. Amen.

Thank you for stopping by and come back again!
