Can You Tell Me How To Get To...?

Today, my Mommy, Dad, little sister Sophia, Grammy, Pop-Pop, and me all went on a trip to Sesame Place. Sometimes, I like to watch Sesame Street and Elmo's World on TV but, this was much better. When we got there, it looked like a really fun place to be and there were lots of things to do and ride on. Here are some of the pics that Grammy took of our day together.

The first thing I saw that I wanted to ride on was a roller coaster called the "Vaper Trail". You know that I really like anything that runs on tracks so, I was really excited when I saw it. Mommy got on it with me and it took us way up high in the air. Then, all of a sudden, it took us down a hill really fast and around lots of twists and turns! After the ride was over, my Dad wanted to take me back on it but, I wasn't sure if I wanted to ride it again so, we moved on to something else.

The next thing that I wanted to ride on was the "Merry-Go-Round". I really like riding on them a lot and wherever I see one, I have to get on it. After the Vapor Trail, riding up and down on a slow-moving horse seemed like a good idea to me and it was really more my speed. Pop-Pop got on it with me and we rode on it many times before we left the park. My Dad also got on it with my little sister so, I am proud to say that she had her first ride on a merry-go-round today!

The next thing that caught my eye was the front end of a bright red fire engine truck. I'm not too sure where the back end of it was but, I saw a seat and something called a "steering wheel" so, I wanted to get on it. Pop-Pop sat next to me and both us pretended that we were firemen on a fire truck.

Then, it was time to have some fun in the water so, we all went over to something called "The Count's Splash Castle". For some reason, it always takes me a while to warm-up to the idea of playing in water and I like to do it in my own time and in my own way. So, I ran around the edge of the water play area for a little while and then, I decided to go for it. I had a lot of fun running in and out of the water on my own. My Mommy, Dad, and Pop-Pop had their fun on the water slides and standing under the "big bucket" waterfall.

Grammy didn't plan on getting in the water today so, she took my little sister on a stroll around the park while the rest of us played in the water. By the time they came back to the water play area, everyone decided that they were hungry so, we all went to a place called "Sesame Cafe" and had some lunch. After we ate, me and my little sister hung out with Grammy and Pop-Pop so, my Mommy and Dad struck out on their own for a little while. I guess my little sister got tired from all of that "strolling" around the park and finally fell asleep. She was a real "trooper" today!

Shortly after that, it started to rain so, we had to cut our trip short and head for home. It was a fun day just the same, and we all had a great time!

MoreSummerFun@Smith!

Yesterday, me and my little sister Sophia went back to Smith Playhouse & Playground with my Mommy, Grammy, and Pop-Pop. I really like going there a lot because I just can't get enough of the giant slide in the playground, the train table upstairs in the playhouse, and all the different things to ride on in the basement of the playhouse. We noticed that Smith is building a new play area in back of the playhouse and it's almost finished. I hope that it opens real soon so, I can play in there the next time I go back to visit.

This trip to Smith was really special for me because it is the first time my Mommy got a chance to go with me. Grammy and Pop-Pop told her how much I like the giant slide and how I learned how to do it all by myself the last time that I was there. So today, she got a chance to see me in action herself for the first time. My sister is too little to go down the giant slide or do anything else just yet but, she kept Mommy company while I played.

Here are some pics that my Grammy took and you can click on each collage for a larger view of all the fun. My Mommy and little sister took something called a "cat nap" for a few minutes while we were in the playhouse. But, there were no naps of any kind for me because I was on the move! Who ever heard of taking a nap when you're at a fun place like this anyway (smile)?

After playtime was over, we were really hungry and wanted to get something to eat. By that time, I was pretty thirsty too so, Mommy got the idea that we should all go to a place called "Chili's" to have some lunch. My sister was something called a "little tropper" today because she was really awake for most of our time at Smith and Chili's. She even watched me color while we were waiting for our food and drinks.

After lunch, we all went to Grammy and Pop-Pop's house for a visit. Once again, I was with my Thomas & Friends trains and I had a great time playing with them. I really miss them a lot. After that, I watched some "Mickey-Goofy" (Mickey Mouse Playhouse) on TV for a little while and then, Mommy said that it was time for us to go home. I had a great time at Smith and it was nice to spend some time with Grammy and Pop-Pop again. It was a fun day!

Oops! The Lost Photos of "Grannies' Day!"

Last month, me and my little sister made another special trip to Smith but that time, we were there with our two cousins, Miles and Jaden. All four of us were there with our "Grannies" and my Pop-Pop was there too.

Me and my little sister kept Grammy and Pop-Pop pretty busy that day but, she did get a few pics of our day together. She forgot that they were in the camera but, she found them today when we worked on the above post. I was upstairs in the playhouse at the train table with my Pop-Pop when these pics were taken so, I missed out.

We all went out to McDonalds and had lunch together after we finished at the playhouse and playground. It was the perfect ending to another great day at Smith!

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN

Lord Jesus, You were never too busy to pay attention to children, for You dearly loved them. We are happy that you love us and that You have time to listen to our prayers and to answer them. We thank You that You have made us Your own. As we get bigger and stronger every day, help us to grow stronger in our faith too. Bless our parents, whom You have given to us, and help us to respect and obey them, to love and treasure them. Forgive us when we disobey them or when we fail to respect them as Your previous gifts to us. Give them the wisdom to train us in the good and right way. Bless our home and every member of our family with a strong faith in You and true love to one another. Teach us to be kind, unselfish, helpful, cheerful, forgiving, and faithful in our duties. Help us to be like You, Lord Jesus, to grow in wisdom and character and in favor with God and all people. Send Your angels to watch over us, to keep us from all harm of body and soul. Bless us, and make us a blessing to our family and friends. Amen.

Thank you for stopping by and come back again!
