Brunch @ TCD!

Yesterday, schools and most day care centers were closed for Columbus Day, so we spent some quality time with all of our grandparents. Me and my Little Sister Alexis had a sleepover Sunday night at Grammy & Pop-Pop's house, and stayed with them all day on Monday. My Little Sister Sophia had a sleepover Sunday night at Gran-Gran & Pop-Pop's house, and stayed with them all day on Monday too. Here are some pics that Grammy took while we were at the Trolley Car Diner for brunch yesterday. The food was good and we had a nice time together. My Little Sister Sophia also had a nice visit with Gran-Gran & Pop-Pop!

Kinney Center For Autism Education & Support

The Kinney Center at St. Joseph's University (Philadelphia, PA) is providing a special opportunity for Kinney Families to enjoy a film in a safe, accepting, and sensory-friendly environment. The theater will have the lights up and the sound turned down. Just like in the sensory-friendly films offered by AMC Theatres in partnership with the Autism Society, "Audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!" A break room will also be available for any audience members who need to take an intermission.

Movie Title: Toy Story 3 (2010, G) - The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

When: Friday, November 2, 2012 @ 6:00pm (doors open at 5:40pm)

Where: Forum Theater-Campion Student Center, St. Joseph's University

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN

Lord Jesus, You were never too busy to pay attention to children, for You dearly loved them. We are happy that you love us and that You have time to listen to our prayers and to answer them. We thank You that You have made us Your own. As we get bigger and stronger every day, help us to grow stronger in our faith too. Bless our parents, whom You have given to us, and help us to respect and obey them, to love and treasure them. Forgive us when we disobey them or when we fail to respect them as Your previous gifts to us. Give them the wisdom to train us in the good and right way. Bless our home and every member of our family with a strong faith in You and true love to one another. Teach us to be kind, unselfish, helpful, cheerful, forgiving, and faithful in our duties. Help us to be like You, Lord Jesus, to grow in wisdom and character and in favor with God and all people. Send Your angels to watch over us, to keep us from all harm of body and soul. Bless us, and make us a blessing to our family and friends. Amen.

Thank you for stopping by and come back again!
